Lindsey Zirker

Located in Idaho Falls, Lindsey Zirker is a clinical dietitian specializing in various types of chronic disease and conditions. She is committed to helping patients feel empowered and confident in taking charge of their health to slow the progression of kidney disease, manage autoimmune disease, food allergies and other digestive issues such as IBS and Celiac disease. Lindsey graduated from Brigham Young University with her Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and completed her dietetic internship at East Carolina University. She has been working in kidney disease since 2008 and has had the opportunity to work with many complex and varied conditions. To provide a broader approach to helping her patients, she obtained her Master's degree in Nutritional Science with an emphasis in functional medicine from the University of Bridgeport. Her nutrition philosophy can be summed up by this quote by Ann Wigmore, "The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison." Lindsey enjoys reading historical fiction, playing board games, and spending time with family. Her favorite fruit is pineapple and she loves learning about how food can improve health.
